Piss Pot is an extension of water traveling through the body, into a pot, out of wine glasses and the potential multiple permutations of this water beyond the framing of this performance. The pitches notated were plucked from the most persistent frequencies of the individual wine glasses as gulps of water left each glass. These pitches, in addition to the recording of the pot with it’s multiple overtones and in-determinate singularity of pitch, are orienting nodes for the piece as it progresses through a swirl of moving, water-like, potentials.
