LA><ART Presents a Performance by
Nancy Lupo Old Zoo Food
with Ape Cave Stratum Feeding by Jules Gimbrone
6-8pm Produced by Adjunct Curator Summer Guthery

In thinking through the relationship between a rind and a nutritional yeast surface, Nancy Lupo presents OLD ZOO FOOD, a dinner picnic where bucatini will be served straight from a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano and lemons will be made sweet. Through beverage, oil, and rock, archeologic sounds will resonate through the cave as Gimbrone comes face-to-face with the ape through an investigation into organic matter-under-pressure.
